Silicone oil fan is a new type of fan. It uses the temperature of the engine to control the opening and closing of the valve, so that the silicone oil flows from the accumulator chamber or not into the working chamber. The engine temperature is high, the amount of silicone oil flowing into the working chamber is large, and the adhesion force is large, and the fan rotates fast; otherwise, it is slow. Common faults of fan clutch include:
① The bimetallic temperature sensor is damaged. When the bimetallic temperature sensor is damaged, the silicone oil fan clutch cannot be separated and combined according to the change of the air temperature behind the radiator, but is always in a separated state, resulting in excessive engine temperature.
② The silicone oil leaks. Silicone oil is the transmission medium of the fan clutch. When the silicone oil leaks to a certain extent, the power transmission fails.
③ The silicone oil fan drive pin is broken, causing the oil outlet valve plate to leave the oil outlet and normally open under the action of the spring force, so that the silicone oil vapor in the oil storage chamber enters the working chamber, making the fan clutch in a constant connection state, causing engine temperature The rise is too slow.
