Definition of oil seal
Oil seal is mechanical components for sealing oil(oil is common liquid material in transmission system),it could insulate working components and lubricated parts,it prevent release of lubricating oil.Static sealing and motion sealing(general reciprocating motion).Typical form of oil seal is TC oil seal,it is a two-lip oil seal with self-tightening spring,it is completely packed by rubber,general oil seal is this TC skeleton oil seal.
Material of oil seal
Common material of oil seal is as following:NBR,FPM,HNBR,silicon rubber ,ACM,polyurethane,PTFE ets.Customers shall consider material compatibility for working medium,adaptability of working temperature scope and following ability when lip edge revolve axis at high speed.Working medium temperature is between 20℃ and 50℃ for general oil seal working.customers shall be very careful when they choose material of oil seal.Please refer to following for detail:Type and character of oil seal.Working scope of oil seal has close relation to used material of oil seal:Temperature is between -25℃ and 120℃ for NBR,Temperature is between -35℃ and 150℃ for ACM,Temperature is between -25℃ and 250℃ for FPM,Temperature is between -55℃ and 150℃ for HNBR.
